Kycoo's Name

I didn't want to use my real name online because there's always been a definite line between my online and offline lives. I suppose there's the paranoia factor, too; my mom's told me plenty of times that she doesn't want me giving away too much information about myself online, although if someone really wanted to stalk me, I'd be better off moving to the moon or something. Or not, because potential stalkers would then know exactly where to find me.

Anyway, using an Internet alias seemed like a perfect solution to the problem. Unfortunately, solutions lead to more problems, and I was stuck trying to find a suitable name. I've always been horrible at coming up with original names, so I had absolutely no ideas for quite some time. I looked through books and websites, but I just couldn't find a name I liked.

Kycoo the Ghost DestroyerAs a last resort, I decided to turn to my obsession at the time: my Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. Most of them have extremely lame names (like my favorite card, the Dark Magician), but a fair share of them have names that sound relatively decent. As you might be able to guess, I ran across a card that my little sister had given me: Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer. I dropped "the Ghost Destroyer" because it sounded way too wacko, and became Kycoo.

Oh, and since I've been asked how to pronounce Kycoo, I pronounce it like you would say the word "haiku," except with a hard "K" (is there such a thing as a soft "K"?) at the front. You can always pronounce it whatever way you like, although I can't think of another way to say it. Just plain old "Ky" is cool with me, too, though.
